McAngus and the Girls: BOY, DID I GOOF!
Thanks to a caring customer, I received news that some of the cutting directions for the white sateen in "McAngus and the Girls" are incorrect. The dimensions should read as follows:
- Block 2: Cut the fabric 10" x 12", trim to 9 1/2" x 11 1/2" after completing the applique. When the block is stitched into the quilt, its finished size will be 9" x 11".
- Block 4: Cut the fabric 17 1/2" x 4 1/2". The finished size is 17" x 4"
- Block 17: Cut the fabric 14 1/2" x 4 1/2". The finished size is 14" x 4".
Blocks 4 and 17 do not need to be cut extra large because there is no applique on those blocks, the designs are just drawn or painted on.
My deepest apologies to all of you who have purchased this pattern and have had to correct my mistakes. We will be finding a new way to double check these figurs in the future so that you will not have to deal with this kind of mistake again.
How Many Sewing Machines Does a Girl Really Need?
Well, I finally decided that nine, -yes nine- is a bit much. So
after careful consideration (read agonizing there) I have decided
to sell my Pfaff Creative Vision sewing machine and my Pfaff Coverlock
Model 4872 Serger. Both machines have seen very little use and
are in almost new condition. I’m asking $5500 for the sewing
machine and $250 for the Serger. Both machines have all their attachments,
feet, hoops, and owner manuals. The sewing machine has all the
latest updates as well. Email
me for details.
